    Full Description

Day 1: Siem Reap – Sasarsdam Farm Stay

Our adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. You will be transferred to our bike shop, where you will be warmly greeted by our local guide. After a brief 20 to 30-minute orientation covering the tour itinerary, biking routes, and bike fitting, we’ll set off on our journey.

We’ll cycle through the picturesque city of Siem Reap, heading north through the beautiful Angkor Jungle Park. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to stop and interact with local families, visit local schools and pagodas, and participate in the daily activities of villagers as they work on their farms and in vegetable gardens.

Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, after which we’ll continue our ride deeper into the village. You’ll experience the vibrant rhythm of daily life, including visits to small markets and witnessing harvesting activities. We expect to arrive at our farm-stay around 3 PM. Here, you’ll receive refreshments and be welcomed by your hosts, who will share their philosophy of “from farm to fork.” They will guide you on a tour of the farm, showcasing their frogs, fish, and vegetable gardens.

We’ll conclude the day by relaxing by the pondside, enjoying the beautiful sunset with refreshing drinks. An authentic dinner will be served at the farm-stay, providing a perfect end to your day before you settle in for the night.

    Biking: 45-55km

Day 2: Sasarsdam – Siem Reap

Wake up early for an exciting day of activities at the farm stay. You’ll have the chance to participate in various farming tasks, which may include planting or watering vegetables, catching fish, planting rice, or harvesting crops—activities will vary depending on the season. After a fulfilling morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead.

Once we’re ready, we’ll embark on our bike ride back to Siem Reap via a different route that offers a glimpse into the daily lives of other villages. Along the way, we’ll make several stops for photos, snacks, and refreshing drinks, allowing for meaningful interactions with locals. We’ll also visit the Puck Market, one of the largest markets in the area, where you can experience the vibrant local culture and taste the deep friend crickets.

Next, we’ll stop at the Angkor Silk Farm, where you’ll learn about the intricate process of silk production from the farm to the final silk product. Continuing our journey, we’ll ride to West Baray, a significant man-made lake dating back to the 11th century, which still serves as a crucial water source for local agriculture.

Lunch will be served at one of the area’s most authentic local restaurants, renowned for its grilled chicken and fish, with vegetarian options available as well. After indulging in a delicious meal, we’ll pedal another 10 km back to our bike shop in Siem Reap City Center to conclude the tour. A local driver will then transfer you back to your hotel.
