Take a half-morning day to explore the main temples built by the most famous king in the Angkor era, king Jayaraman VII. Starting with the greatest city called Angkor Thom, then Ta Prohm and enjoy a picnic lunch in a provide traditional house near Srah Srang.
08.30 AM, our guide and the car driver pick you up from the hotel in Siem Reap. The exploration will start with a short walk along the wall of the great city of Angkor Thom to visit the Ghost Gate and then continue to visit the Bayon temple located in the center of the city. Then continue to Ta Nei temple where you will visit the temple with a few tourists, the high tea provided on the tuk-tuk before you continue to visit Ta Prohm temple. After Ta Prohm temple, enjoy a private gourmet picnic lunch at Khmer Traditional House, which is located near Banteay Kdei and Ta Prohm temples, in front of Srah Srong Royal bath. The house belongs to a French lady. She is an anthropologist and has been living in Cambodia for nearly 20 years but she is now based in Phnom Penh Capital city. The house is left and taken care of by a neighboring local family. Picnic lunch is organized in a Khmer traditional wooden house by a Cambodian family. The house is fully equipped with electricity (fan and lights) and a bathroom, all set in an old style. Return to hotel.
